Compliance Manager 2.4: Advancing Maritime Compliance with Speed and Precision
Nearly 1.000 vessels are already using OceanScore’s Compliance Manager to manage their FuelEU Maritime processes and to secure the needed transparency. With final implementation acts only passed in February and charter party negotiations still ongoing (if started at all), we continue to develop our Compliance Manager with highspeed: We just released version 2.4 – and more are on the way.
Complete FuelEU Workflow Now Available
The Compliance Manager now boasts a complete FuelEU workflow. Automated invoicing, including the generation of statements to charterers and between managers and owners (for compliance balances or funds / cash), closing of paid invoices, etc..
Leveraging EU ETS and FuelEU Synergies
Our Compliance Manager is leveraging synergies between EU ETS and FuelEU. Same APIs for data delivery, same vessel particulars, same setup of charterers and owners. We are taking these synergies to a next level: Integrated management of commercial offhires / periods of unemployment – across regulations. Soon to come: We will do the same for technical offhires, integrating them as well and allowing for offhire entries independent of specific requests to be sent – better reflecting day-to-day workflows and further increasing efficiencies.
More details to be provided to Charterers
For those who work with event-based reporting solutions, we now provide standardized event lists with all relevant parameters in EU ETS and FuelEU requests and statements. If even more detail is needed, this is available, too: via an export function. For voyage-based reporting, this function has been available for some time already.
More is in the making: Future Features and Strategic Planning Support
OceanScore’s proprietary forecasting solution helps forecast full year exposure for EU ETS and FuelEU. We will be adding planning and further features for optimizing compliance strategies. In addition, we will be further expanding monitoring and reporting features – the increasing complexity asks for more transparency.
Collaboration Across the Maritime Industry
One of the benefits of working with so many shipping companies from around the world is that we can learn with leaders in all segments, from managers, owners and charterers. What are your specific workflows, what are requirements of your charter party clauses, your shipman clauses. We learn, we build. Lot’s more is coming your way, stay posted.
